James Santner received a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University in 1983. He attended law school at the University of Cincinnati. He received a J.D. from that school in 1987 and also has an M.S. from that institution in 1986. He is admitted to the Bar in New York, Ohio (not active) and the Southern and Eastern District Courts in New York. Mr. Santner is a member of the Richmond County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He has practiced on Staten Island in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury actions since 1987. He assists injury victims in construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, trip and fall accidents, worker’s compensation claims, social security claims and medical malpractice. He has tried cases in New York State and Federal District Court. He has argued and briefed cases before the Second Department, Appellate Division, and the Appellate Term. He has litigated cases reported in the New York Appellate Division Reports and the New York Jury Verdict Reporter. He has volunteered as an arbitrator for cases in Small Claims Court in Richmond County.
